<DIV></DIV> <div>Jesse Graves was born and raised in Sharps Chapel, Tennessee, where his ancestors settled in the 1780s.  His poems and essays have appeared in <I>Prairie Schooner, Southern Quarterly, Connecticut Review</I>, and other journals, anthologies, and collections.
