Paris is the author's hometown, but he confesses to being addicted to travel. He spent a few months in New Orleans intending to learn enough about the city to create a graphic novel based there. This delightful book contains his lively drawings and notes--his journal, essentially, which he never intended for publication. While his brief introduction is in both English and French, the handwritten notes that accompany drawings and paintings are not translated into English.
