Warrell, a curator at the Tate and specialist on Turner, has assembled a sumptuous catalogue of the artist's many watercolors and drawings of Venice, accompanied by detailed essays that describe the city's history in the early 18th century and Turner's activities there. The catalogue, which is oversize at 10x11.25<">, was published to accompany an exhibition held at Tate Britain in London and the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth in 2003-2004.
