Part of a decade-long series of dialogues between Benedictine monks and Shi'a Muslims from Iran, a meeting was held in September 2011 in Rome to compare spiritual practices and religious experiences in the two traditions. This printed version of the dialogue presents a pair of essays each on revelation, lectio divina, prayer, public prayer, witness within the community, witness within the world, and dialogue.
