Due to legal loopholes and misconceptions among developers of new technologies, websites and other digital technologies are often inaccessible for people with disabilities, who are the largest minority in the US. Jaeger (Information Policy and Access Center, U. of Maryland) examines the social, cultural, and political dimensions of access to the Internet for people with disabilities. Although the book is scholarly in nature, it is written to be accessible to most readers, with no technical discussions.
