This is a textbook for BFA undergraduate students in fashion design, written by Fiona Dieffenbacher, who has a BFA in Fashion from the Parsons School of Design, and has become the director of the BFA Fashion Design course at the Parsons School of Design. Michael Kors gave her a Gold Thimble award when she was a senior, and her designs have been featured in Cosmopolitan and other popular magazines. The book is divided into three sections: Idea, Concept, and Design. Each part is "seen through four lenses" called Process, Practice, Perspective, and Point of View, which alliterates nicely.
