Hendroff presents a guide to 27 walks along the northwest coast of Ireland. They range from easy three-hour walks for beginners with basic map and compass skills to difficult walks of five or more hours that might include complex ground, pretty steep slopes, and even scrambling a bit now and then. Moderate walks are between. Among the routes are the coastal delights of Horn Head, a circuit of Aghla More and Aghla Beg, the three tops of Slievetooey, the classic Blue Stack Ridge circuit, the Aroo plateau, and Knocknarea.
