Editors Serp (inorganic chemistry, Institute National Polytechnique de Toulouse, France) and Philippot (chemistry, CNRS, France) authored the first chapter in which they define concepts in nanocatalysis and discuss the advantages of nanocatalysts in terms of their activity, selectivity, and stability.
