The new edition of this reference and practical guide was initiated in 2011, and its quick move to published form is a result of the long-standing, close collaboration of the four editors, all affiliated with the University Hospitals Schleswig-Holstein in Kiel, Germany. All of the authors have had some connection with the Kiel school although they are currently based all over the world. Each chapter focuses on some aspect of endoscopic gynecologic surgery and gives a detailed description of surgical steps, complications, tips and tricks of the trade, and a reference list.
