Niemiec, a psychologist and teacher at Xavier U. who is associated with a nonprofit positive psychology organization, demonstrates to psychologists, educators, coaches, consultants, business professionals, and researchers the synthesis of mindfulness and character strengths into mindfulness-based strengths practice. He provides primers on the two areas, their core concepts, related ideas, research, and practices, then details their integration and the research on correlations and consequences of mindfulness and each of the 24 character strengths.
