<div> One of the greatest challenges for the apparel industry is to produce garments that fit customers properly. "Anthropometry" refers to the study of body dimensions such as size, weight and shape. Anthropometric data is critical in determining sizing systems for clothes and their design. The book covers sizing systems developed for particular groups, apparel size designation and the potential for international standardization.
