The textbook is designed for a two-week course for medical students who have completed their first-year medical school curriculum of neuroscience--including neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and neuroembryology--and are just embarking on clinical training and so need to integrate neurological knowledge, other medical knowledge, and clinical skills. The material could also be useful to students and practitioners in neurology or other medical specialties who want an overview or review of neurological localization. The topics are the central nervous system: brain and cord; the peripheral nervous system: nerves and muscles; special applications of neuro-logic in neurologic classics and neuropsychiatry; and the neurological examination and putting it all together.
