Having written a book on Antonin Scalia, Rossum here turns his attention to Thomas, the other unabashed originalist on the US Supreme Court. He analyzes in detail close to 500 majority opinions, concurring opinions, and dissents that Thomas has written during his 22 years of service on the Supreme Court. In these and in various speeches and law review articles, he finds that Thomas has articulated a clear and consistent jurisprudence of constitutional restoration that seeks to restore the original general meaning of the US Constitution.
