Thorough underlying theory combined with implementation science and examples to cover the wide area of practical applications of this technology as well as the underlying theoretical aspects are presented independently for trellis coding and turbo coding methods. Furthermore, the book emphasizes Iterative Processing to overcome theoretical limitations with trellis and turbo coding methods.
