Numerous books have been written about John F. Kennedy’s life and presidency. This book takes a unique approach by chronicling JFK’s life from his boyhood through assassination and the subsequent mourning by exploring the hundreds of coins, medals, tokens and stamps that were produced around the time of JFK’s presidency. Some of the coins included are highly collectible, whereas other memorabilia is one-of-a-kind. Appendixes include detailed information about the coins included in the book, a section on the US currency issued during the Kennedy administration, and information on the medals and coins associated with JFK’s children.
