This study tool for first-year law students is entirely composed of summary charts outlining fundamental concepts of five important areas all first-year law students must learn: civil procedure, criminal law, contracts, property law, and torts. Grouping the concepts visually is intended to make it easier for students to understand patterns. Some charts compare the common law and the model penal code, some list definitions, some give definitions and examples, and some describe legislation.
