<span><span>It all started with an ad in the </span><span style="font-style:italic">Boston Herald:</span><span>Lakeside cabins in Fryeburg, Maine. Jordan’s Camps turned out to be perfect: no electricity or indoor plumbing, but plenty of good fishing and good companionship to fill long summer days. It was 1946, and the beginning of David Morine’s long love affair with Maine. </span><span style="font-style:italic">Vacationland </span><span>is a wonderful, quirky personal story, full of nostalgia, memorable characters, and some of the funniest “what I did on my summer vacation” stories.</span><span><br></span></span>
