Adams prepares a third edition of this calculus textbook maintaining Rogawski's principles and emphases in the first two. However, he has placed more focus on concepts, changed some notation, added more explanations of derivations, reordered and added topics, and added new examples and exercises. This version covers only multivariable calculus, and begins with chapter 10 of the whole textbook. The topics are infinite series; parametric equations, polar coordinates, and conic sections; vector geometry; the calculus of vector-valued functions; differentiation in several variables; multiple integration; line and surface integrals; and fundamental theorems of vector analysis.
