This text provides comprehensive coverage of the new FRCR Part 1 syllabus, which was introduced in December 2002. The authors, representing trainees and teachers from the radiology training scheme in Leeds, were amongst the first to experience the revised syllabus. They have put together a series of MCQs, in a clear and concise format, in a similar style to the examination. Special attention is given to the issues of legislation, and detailed explanations of the answers' are provided, in particular to clarify the more difficult parts of the examination.
